Tom, you may want to consider the clear lexan panels like I replaced on Windsong M17 on the MSOG photo site. Its nice to have light in the cabin and I can use a privacy curtain when I do not want other to see in. The Fuels cells I talked about were shown on the Jan 05 issue of Lats and Atts in the "found at boat show" section. Discovered by Bitchin at the Annapolis show. Made by Scandvik and called Max power. It provides 100 amps per day at 12 volts, weighs 7 Kg, and consumes 1.2 liters of methanol per Kwh. The portable 5 liter container of methanol will generate 72 hours of continuous power at 50 watts at 11 to 14.4 volts. I didn't tell the cost but anyone who is interested can go to the Mfgrs web sitw at www.scandvik.com. Also on the next page, some kool hatchboards made of starboard plastic with openings for solid or screen inserts or windows. I love the wooden hatchboards on my M-15 but they are high maintenance. John, Your offers are generous and appreciated. I sail a M-17 and would be interested in a set of hatchboards (what I call em) for the boat and two or three piece is acceptable. Hi John, Not that I know much about these things... I asked Bob Eeg about making a three part set of companionway hatch boards, for my M-17. His reply was, I needed to take measurements to be certain of a good fit upon installation. I wonder if there is enough difference between the years to make a production run out of the question? May be a good exercise to check measurements of various boats, to see. Just thinking... Bill
