M23 on Columbia River?

Hello, I have heard that there is an M23 on the Columbia River in Oregon. I would love to see the inside of one in person and this boat is pretty close to my location in Washington. Does anyone know the owner or have contact information for them? Last I heard, it was Mark D. Thanks! Gerry

Hello Fellow Montgomery dreamers, Thanks to Gerry's patience I have actually been able to upload a bunch of pictures onto the Montgomery Photo Site. Stop in and peruse the pics of projects I have completed on my 1977 Montgomery 17 Hull # 258. I included a brief description of what was done each time in the "Title". 2017 WrinkleBoat Championship Regatta and Ran-Tan

New web site - https://wrinkleboat.wordpress.com/ WrinkleBoat Intergalactic Championship Regatta and Ran-Tan Greetings fellow WrinkleBoat sailors! This year the event has been moved to February - 17-19 2017 race events on all three days - WICR is Saturday and Sunday. Racing will be one day round the bouys and one day around the islands. for sightseeing (plenty of wildlife) - the javelina will ALL be there because Jerry is going hunting down by Tucson!! Burros, coyotes, bald eagles and more will be available for viewing. Camp cruising on following days if you desire - contact me for possible group 'micro-cruise' if enough are interested. Very low key racing and Wrinkleboat designer and builders will be present. Inquiring minds can get answers. Sage 15 and Sage Cat will be sailing, along with all the 'oldies'. Please email me or contact section at the web site for additional information , directions, lodging recomendations, any and all questions - we don't have all the answers - but we will work to get them answered. (Photos of this last weekends Racing at Lake Pleasant the "venue" - first of the TRIPLE CROWN series. Quite a memorable day, for sure.) leach lake Regatta

I’ve been thinking about doing the Leach Lake Regatta in N MN. I went once, probably in’79 or maybe ‘80, sailed on a M-23, and had a great time. I just took a look at the website for the results for this year (Aug 15-17) and there were no Montgomery's or Sages. In fleet 1, the smallest one, the smallest boat was a Cape Dory Typhone (2nd place), which is a neat boat but no match for an M or S, but this race was on handicap, PHRF. My question is: Do any of you fellow wrinklebote sailors have an interest in going in 2017? If so, I’d be inclined to think seriously about it myself. I know that there are a good number of 17’s in that area. Let me know if you are interested; don’t need commitments, obviously. -- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter.
