Hello: I have a Total Control chasis with a Hiper DSP T1 NAC but working with a E1 line, becouse it has a "daughter card" that gives de 6 extra modems for a E1 line.. it is working fine... Besides the Total Control have 1 Hiper DSP NIC T1/E1, 1 Hiper Router Access Card and the AC PSI 130A card.. It all working very good. Can I add to that Total Control a USR TOTAL CONTROL DUAL PRI NAC/NIC Set E-1 without any problem..? Is it compatible with my equipment..? Do not I need anything else to add to my TC other E1 leased line..? Someone told me that I will need some digital modems for this card to works... What he will referred with digital modems..? Todd, Have you been able to make outgoing calls with the iblitzz MOH app? Can't get it to work. Either there's no caller ID and the application stays on the desktop all the time, or it doesn't support making outgoing calls, or it doesn't make a 'ring' sound or it has 50 clicks in the exact right sequence or something is messed up on nearly everyone we've seen. So, does someone have a good recommendation or know of a stand-alone, 3rd party product for MOH? Thank you. ARC upgrade fails ACCESS VIOLATION

I'm trying to flash an ARC to 5.3.3 and I keep getting ACCESS VIOLATION errors. Its got 128Mb RAM and 16Mb Flash, and I was able to flash another ARC on the same network so it worked at least once on a similiar ARC. HiPerARC + Windows 2000 Radius

Hi all! I've FINALLY gotten my setup to answer the phone! Big accomplishment for me. Has anyone successfully used a HiPerARC + Windows 2000 Internet Access (RADIUS) combination? I've tried a variety of settings and finally got a Linux box to dial in and authenticate however I haven't been able to get a Windows machine to dial in and authenticate correctly. In the HiPer Access manager I have "Authentication" set to ANY and in Windows 2000 IAS under the Access Profile I have all 4 types of authentication enables (MS-CHAPv2, MS-CHAP, CHAP and PAP). However when I try to connect I get the following message in the event log: User jmccormick was denied access. Fully-Qualified-User-Name = HUDSON\jmccormick NAS-IP-Address = 172.16.2.192 NAS-Identifier = 172.16.2.192 Called-Station-Identifier = <not present> Calling-Station-Identifier = <not present> Client-Friendly-Name = lexiras1 Client-IP-Address = 172.16.2.192 NAS-Port-Type = Async NAS-Port = 1 Policy-Name = <undetermined> Authentication-Type = MD5-CHAP EAP-Type = <undetermined> Reason-Code = 19 Reason = The user could not be authenticated using Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol (CHAP). A reversibly encrypted password does not exist for this user account. I've also tried enabling "Store Password with Reversable Encryption" in Active Directory Users and Groups but that doesn't seem to make a difference nor do I understand why that would be necessary. Weird beep...

Hello All, I have just installed a tc rack. Being more of a Cisco guy, I am a little new to this...sorry. Anyway, it's a tc rack with HiPer Arc card + 4 modem cards. I have brought a PRI into the rack, but whenever I dial into the number my provider gave me, I get short beeps...any ideas? Thanks! Peter

The line "tel_icb_queue()" is referring to a C function call in the code. Unless you have access to the ARC source code, there's not much someone on the "outside" can tell you about that. It's not necessarily a fatal error, it looks more like spurious debugging output. If anyone from 3Com is lurking here, maybe they can chime in and tell you what that means... Hi: I know that it is possible ( I have a Total working in that way), that I can add a USRobotics daugther card to a Hiper DSP NAC card T1, to work like a E1. That daugther card give the 6 extra modems. Someone know where I can buy that daugther card...? And if I buy a T1 card and the daugther card, what principal points I have in mind to make them works..?? Thanks in advance.
