The easiest way is to give each city it's own HiPer ARC. It also allows you to assign ip pools to only that city. If you are running more than 7 DSP's per HiPer Arc then you killing performance anyway. Lucent/Agere winmodems and 3.5.105

Has anyone running 3.5.105 noticed that Lucent winmodems connect slower/less reliably than they did under 3.5.100 or older? Hi All, Here we have frequent electricity problem of overvoltage , and UPS is also problematic. Thats why there may be chances of frequent sudden power off. Will it affect anyway to TC1000, I want to take backup of Code of Hiper ARC and Hiper DSP and NMC,, How?? , so that incase of anything failure I can restore it .. how?? Modems Permanently Busy

Hi all. I have some USR total control parts that I've put together to try to setup a remote dial-in pool. I have the following pieces: 1 Chasses w/ 45A power supplies 3 Analog V.34 modems 1 Network Management card (hardware version 2.0, software version 4.3.8) 1 HiPerARC I've gotten everything configure but I'm running into an odd problem whereby the modems are permanently busy. I've gone over the configurationg numerous times and setup things according to the various manuals for an "ISP" type setup (users dial in to obtain an IP, etc..). Can someone help me troubleshoot this problem? I realize I haven't given much information but please let me know what you need and I'll be glad to post it ASAP. Thanks a lot!! -- Jason

I tried the "Quad V.34 Analog Modem" and it wouldn't work. My TCM would lock up trying to identify the cards.
