TC routing

Is is possible to have my HiperNMC route more than one way. I am trying to set up a failover system that will use 'costs' to route the packets depending on availibility. I can obviously do this with another machine if needed, but I thought I would ask and see if anyone has any ideas. Thanks, --Peter Galbraith

Are you sure on the Framing and Line Coding (the D4 and the AMI)? Whereas many settings will make minor differences, Framing and Line Coding are critical. Because D4 and AMI are kinda the "old" standards, if those are correct, I assumed the mf tones are probably correct as well. It couldn't hurt to try changing to dtmf, but if you've got the number of tones set to zero then the tone type should become irrelevent. In TCM, when you click the trunk LED's at the top of the card and do Performance->Session Monitor->Timeslots(ALL), in the "Functional Group Setup Window" you can then select "DS0 Timeslot Status" and "DS0 Service State". The table you provided relates to "DS0 Timeslot Status", I'm seeing the "9" in the "DS0 Service State" Column. Thanks! Don't know if it's related or not, but the "9" caught my eye. I'm working with a DSP that won't take any calls and in the session monitor in TCM it shows "DS0 Service Status" as a "9" where it normally says "InService(2)". Any solution to this or a suggestion? I saw there was a reply to Todd's message but I accidentally deleted. Someone please forward to me if you think it was relevant. Thanks! one of our netservers stops listening for leased line (&l1 is set). it happens after disconnecting of user. port is off (not red/yellow/green). i checked init strings and NVRAM settings - everything is same as on other netservers. reseting port dont help. i wrote &l1 option into nvram and rewrite init string by atz and same problem. any suggestions? (NETServer 16 - OS V3.8.1 modems - V1.0.8)

HARM & HiPer Access Router card

Hello, I'm trying to connect to a Hiper Access Router card using HARM V2.2.6 When I try to connect I get this message: Your Router is running version V4.1.11 HARM 2.2 works with ARC5.2* Sorry for sounding like a newbie (because I am) but, what do I need to do to correct this issue? Find / use a different program? Use an older version of HARM? Any help - instruction - direction would greatly be appreciated. Thanks, jim
