Hi Jerry, I am perfectly comfortable with the 8'' beam on my M23. The only real issue is the narrow port and starboard side decks next to the coach roof. Mainsail

I am looking for a used mainsail for my recently acquired 1976 - M17. I listed it in the classifieds, but have been advised that this would be a better place to put it. I am looking for a generic cruising sail, I think. I really don't know enough about sails yet to choose, or pay for, a new one. Does anybody have one they want to sell?

Hi Everyone, After a couple of years hiatus, I missed the group so much that I had to come back, even without a M Boat. We are both retired now, taking the CDory out when we can, and of course... I miss my M15. If the economy picks up enough to make it worth while to sell some real estate, I would like to buy another. Perhaps a M17 this time around. I hope that all is well with you and yours, and that 2013 is a happy and prosperous year for you. Regards to all, Steve

The M-17 motors better with no mast onboard than with it up for sure IMHO. either way is not a problem. I think Doug K did the trip with his non-Montgomery boat (can't remember the make) GO M-17t
