Mast Rivets

Monel is probably stronger than aluminum, but not as easy to procure. Are there different grades of aluminum pop rivets? The rivets holding the two fixtures that I took off my mast seemed to be harder and much tighter than rivets I've cut in the past. When I bought Tipperary she came with it. I did have the two hanks installed. I guess some fly without any hanks. I read somewhere (sorry author) that the hanks are a good idea to avoid chafe. Now, for the M-15... we need the assistance of William Riker (it's his Drifter pictured). It's been a bit difficult to get ahold of him as of late. I think it's some kind of house thing. But, when I get the measurements I'll post them right away. Bill

Maybe try to get to the main site first at www.MSOG.funtigo.com or, if that doesn't work, go to a specific album, try http://www.funtigo.com/MSOG?b=245327&c=1789789&p=start I do know that the site is designed to work best with Internet Explorer. And, I've been told other browsers (Firefox and others) just wont work with the site. If you've changed browsers, that could be the reason. Sorry for the technical difficulties. Bill

Hi All, Lots of new stuff on the Photo Site. Storm Petrel has a new album. There are three new "How To's" 2-by, John Gonzales one is about lowering the ride height of the mast when going to the garage. The second is a promissed one... M-15 Mainsheet Traveler.
