Hi Don, Bob Eeg has T-Shirts completed. I'll have mine in a few days. As soon as I get one, I'll take a picture of the completed product and put it on my web site. Looking through my copy of the last issue of SCA on the M-15 article about the M-15 I noticed a great line drawing of the M-15 with a vertical "Montgomery" banner on the side. I thought, this would make a great Tee shirt. In the past there has been some interest. When I get some time I'm going to contact a local company but if anyone wants to beat me too it, I'll be glad to order from you. BTW<, I though the treatment of Bob suggesting financial problems was uncalled for. I understand that the editor and Bob don't get along. Ken, Spent some time in Muskegon. I love the Lake. The M-15 or 17 would be great for that region (Haul her out when winter comes and head south). The 15 is great for singlehanding, cruising for one, or daysailing. Doug, I apologize for the long delay. There was a death in my family. I currently live in Michigan. In '05 I plan to travel in a small motor home with the M15 in tow. Powell River, BC, Canada is at the top of my list. Its my kind of place; good people clean air and wonderful sailing. For info go to www.discoverpowellriver.com/visitors/ Another good place to sail is the Apostle Islands, www.nps.gov/apis/. A number of M17's have sailed to them. Don't know if any M15's have yet. Jerry M told me about them when he delivered my M15. I bought my M15 new from Jerry M. back in 1991. He delivered it to me so I had a chance to meet him. Hopefully he'll be at the rendezvous on 2005. Wouldn't it be something to get a fleet of hundreds of Jerry-built M-15s together? Maybe somewhere in the middle of the country. I know the geographic center of the lower 48 states is somewhere in Kansas. But I wonder if there's a body of water nearby big enough to accommodate us all. I do most of my sailing at Sage Lake Craig. My in laws have a place there. I've also sailed at East Tawas, Port Austin, Lexington and Presque Isle which is about 30 miles north of Alpena. High on my list for 2005 are the North Channel, Apostle Islands and perhaps Isle Royal which is only 14 miles if I leave from Canada. I have friends that have been there. I'd also like to sail to Pictured Rocks National Park from Munising. Its about 17 miles. I've backpacked into Chapel Rock. Fantastic place. So beautiful. Very good place to anchor unless winds come from the north. Good swimming too if you stay near the top of the water. Its still cool water but not cold cold water. I carry a water purifier on the boat and we cook with our pack packing stuff. I also carry a two man pack tent. Lets sail together next summer. Sure, you'll have to fill the existing mounting holes and prepare the new holes in such a way as to protect the core, but it's a fairly easy process (believe me, I'm not particularly handy, and even I can do it...). But it's a good idea to figure out how to deal with the deck regardless, because you'll find you need to master this routine if you have to change deck hardware or do repairs anyway. Just invest a few bucks in west system materials and go for it. Don't even work on the boat--you can practice on something else.
