You may have to toy with it for a bit to break the code Steve, but it works for me. Again, someone said once that the thickness of the stock mounts has varied over the years, and this is a game of centimeters so every little bit of clearance helps. Good luck. Hi Cherri, I live in Glastonbury, which is just south and east of Hartford itself. Glastonbury is the next town south of East Hartford on the East side of the Connecticut River. New Haven to Glastonbury is about 35 minutes by car - either up I-91 or the Merritt Parkway, which ends in I-91 in Meriden, CT. The M15 is in the water at Lake Pocetapaug (sp?) in East Hampton, about a 20 minute ride from my house. Would love to meet you and show you the our boat - and go for a sail if time allows. Connie

Good news! Bob Campbell and Jerry Montgomery won 1st place again in the SCA Cruiser Challange held at Monterey Bay yesterday. Bob and Jerry sailed a 2001 model Montgomery 17 named 'Alina'. Congradulations guys! Details to follow. Bob Eeg (949) 489-8227

Connie: I purchased a J24 tiller yesterday at West Marine for $ 50. They had it listed at $ 60. and they gave me 15% due to some sticky paper attached to it that shouldn't have been there. I have it temporarily set up and it looks like it will work just fine. Now the hard part- sawing. Let's see. Measure once and cut twice. Hi Steve, I had a Honda 2 HP on a fixed mount on my M15. I could tilt the engin by rotating it slightly so that the case cleared the stern of the boat, and then everything was in order. I'd say about a 15 degree turn to the left - facing aft - should do the trick. I now have a lift mount, and still do the same thing. Connie M15 #400
