Bob and Harvey and potential rendezvousers, (find that in your spell check) I think Harvey hit it right on the head with his list of what to look for in a potential site and time. It may be that two rendezvous' would better suit the needs of those interested if north Idaho is too far from the Seattle area. We'll just have to see who shows interest. My personal preference would be two. One in early summer at Pend Oreille, Coeur D'Alene, Priest, or even Flathead Lakes and then one in the fall on the coast, such as the San Juan trip that was discussed last year. That would line up with my sailing plans for this coming year perfectly! :-) At any rate, we'll at least have an informal weekend sail sometime this year. Larry Y. M17 Tullamore P.S. Peter, My M15 is under it's winter cover and that is covered with snow at the moment. As I recall, the hasp I bought (S/S) had mounting holes that were well below the edge of the sail locker lid opening. When you raise the sail locker lid, the inboard (cockpit) side has an indentation where the closed locker lid front edge fits. My mounting holes for the hinged hasp are below that edge, and presented no mounting problems. The other part, the square plate with the "U" was mounted on the locker lid. I don't recall if I had clearance problems, but if I did, I probably just cut off the bolt length, used a regular nut (thinner than an Elastic Stopnut) and put Loctite on it. The critical element is to have a slight interference fit of your hasp so that it won't just fall open by itself. Mine stays closed and requires a bit of effort to get it open. That way you won't have it opening inadvertantly if your leg brushes against it, or the boat gets hit by a powerboat wake. Steve, Thanks for the spelling lesson. I need all the help I can get. " Rally" works, or maybe "Sail In" . Just so long as we all get there and do the same thing huh? Steve and Diana, Thanks for the idea, Waldo is a very nice lake. Its along time since I've been there. I think there were some pix on here of that M23 if I remember right. I don't remember anything about any facilities there. It would be quite a drive from N Idaho or Seattle. Moses Lake might be more central for every one, however I do like Chelan. It is pretty central to Washington. Wonder what the interest is from those from Oregon or elsewhere? Guess I need to get out a NW map and see what looks centrally located and reasonable. It also depends on how far we are willing to drive, and how long we have available to do the trip. Buzzzzzzzzzzz, Work calls, gotta run. Harvey

Hey Rich, About the "6 month delay.......... I was refering to my wife's knee surgery and subsequent therapy from July of 2001 to November2001. I had asked Bob at Norsea to act as a "Broker" and sell my then current boat in exchange for an M-15. At the time my wife's knee was uninjured. When her situation occured it threw my plans out of whack so I told Bob there was no hurry as I would be tied up with my current situation until November. I'll be in California this month to see about the boat as it is almost complete. Hope that clears up your confusion, Chuck
