Failed Interfaces

I was trying to upgrade my NETServer/16 I-modem firmware to V.90 from the factory default of V.34. I used the NETServer Manager Plus to upload the firmware to the NETServer and received the message "Failed" on all ports. The LED lights are now all RED and I get "NO RESPONSE" when I send any command to the modems. Does anyone know how I can revert back to the factory V34 settings? When I try to upload any firmware now I get the "Failed" message. David.

USR NETServer/16 I-modem

Good morning all, My ISDN lines have finally been installed correctly and my NETServer is answering calls. The NETServer currently only supports V.34 connections and I need to upgrade to V.90. I have downloaded the V.90 service release and code from http://support.3com.com/software/smofficesw.htm. However when I try to upload the new configuration I receive an error stating "Wrong card for this upgrade". (All other firmware upgrades did work) I have read on many web-sites and on list archives that the NETServer I-modem is upgradeable to V.90. Does anyone have the firmware upgrade, or could anyone point me in the right direction? Many thanks once again. David.

QUAD modem is not responding on incomming RING

Hi My previous problem has solved. Now I can login via consol and set ip , login via telnet etc. But now start the 2nd problem. None of my QUAD Analog modem is not receiving any incomming call. When it ring on port , it's don't even responde for a while. I have worked a lot to enable it to service ( add to receive calls) but faild. Even I have configure it as like as a working TC, but result same.... any idea... how to add this QUAD modem to responce to incomming call (RING).............. Hi Thanks for your suggation. Its realy a good solution, Your dip switches works fine. Now I can login via consol and set ip , login via telnet etc. But now start the 2nd problem. V.44 Question?

Has anyone tried using V.44 compression on 3Com TC? I understand V.44 compression results into better throughput! Is it correct? How mush better throughput is realized? Thanks. Really thanks for your suggation, I will try it tomorrow, as I am not in front of that device ( that is on my office). PRI vs. Channelized T1

I bought a TC chassis with two (2) HyperDSP cards, a HyperARC, and HiperNMC card. I was going to use it as a backup chassis for my existing Quad modem chassing running with a Channelized T1, but now I'm ordering a PRI circuit to replace the T1, since it's cheaper and more reliable, and I want to use new chassis on the PRI. How do I tell if the new HiperDSP cards are flashed for T1 or PRI? I'm running TCM v6.0.23. After a period of time, 5.3.3 seemed to show users as being connected when they really were not. 5.3.110 doesn't do this. I've also seen 5.3.3 crash a couple times. That's all I know of, but I always figured they probably fixed a couple things or they wouldn't have released the newer version. 5.3.110 - never seen a crash, never had to reboot one. Been running for months without a glitch. Release notes along the way for one of the versions since 5.3.3 I think said something about adding V.92-related things to it's internal dictionary, and also something about removing a bunch of junk debugging code. (the debugging code thing may have been one of the DSP updates, can't remember exactly). I'm taking a wild guess here, but your card may be bad. Normally, no matter what is set up on the card, I think it should get farther than that. It should display the boot-up menu at the console which gives you an option to erase the configuration, which basically clears everything out to default and gives you the chance to reconfigure the card.
