I tried to set from 9600 to 57600. It didnt help me.. Does NAC NMC have any switch in order reset or clear flash memory? How can I test boot loader? Murad

Alex: What do you mean by burned into card? Is it mean that the Flash Memory chip is soldered into the card? Thanks. Adam: Just out of curiosity, when I look at the card, I see a socket which I assume is for 64 or 128 MB of memory. Where does the 16MB of Flash memory installed on the card? Thanks. Hi List: Finally I have installed all the cards and downloaded the software. I have two questions about HiPer ARC:] 1. Current Software version for HiPer ARC is 5.3.2. Is it a valid & stable version or should I try upgrading to V5.3.3? 2. I thought that I had bought HiPer ARC with 128MB Memory & 16 MB of Flash Memory. However, when I do inventory, I find that the memory is 128MB but the Flash is only 8172. Am I reading something wrong or Flash is *MB. I do not want to call the seller and make a fool of myself either. Help. Kirti

Alex: I have installed the software without any problem. As far as the settings are concerned, there are several fields for each setting for each card, which need a value. I do not think TCM goes in detail about these fields. I was hoping that there was another document which might go into detail as to what a field is in a card? What are the choices and why? I will do some more reading today and also hope somebody can also recommend reading material. Thanks. NMC problem

Hello again! I am up another strange problem. I tried to upgrade software on my NMC NAC and NMC died :-) On power on Rn/Fl led of the NMC is a flashing green. (not rapidly) By manual it means "testing or software download (required or in process)/also during boot-up sequence." NMC over Lan isnt pingable. my hyperterminal receive nothing over console port. (I checked DIP already. jumper 8 is also on NMC on NIC board). Therefore I am unable to reload the software or do anything. 10x in advance, Murad
