Is it possible to filter ICMP packets by their length? I read ARC Product Reference, Chapter 9 - Packet Filters and don't know what does keyword "generic" do. Can anybody explain me what does it mean?

Mr. Oliver Thanks alot, but the OID did not work also. What I have is NetServer (usr total control hub), I think that OID is for HiperArc. Could you please advice me for this. Jamie: This link has all the software you need. I flashed to the latest version for all cards (in one step). No need to go to intermediate versions. http://www.goesp.com/downloads/Documents/TotalControl I have been told that some versions are not that stable but has no personal experience. Hope it helps. Jamie: I am new to 3Com TC and went through the same. Read the documentation "Total Control 1000 Enhanced Data system". It has all the information you need. We did flash HiPer NMC and used Total Control Manager to up date the software for HiPer NMC, HiPer ARC & then HiPer DSP. Reflashing the whole Total Control rack

Our boss plopped a Total Control rack on our bench and wants us to flash it up to the most recent firmware available. Its got Hyper NMC, Hyper Arc, and Hyper DSP's. I was told by another technician that the NMC card should get flashed first, then the Arc, then the DSP's, otherwise I could seriously break something. Going through the documentation at ustar.com, I can't seem to find anything which states what the proper flash order is. Can anyone confirm the order I listed is correct? Thanks, - Jamie

During boot up I had the console card connected and when the card would properly boot up I had several messages on the laptop screen and it finally ended with a prompt wanting the Hiper DSP console password. When I hit enter nothing happens and I can get no response. When the card does not boot up properly I get the same initial boot up messages but do not wind up with a passowrd prompt but rather get the following on the laptop screen: !!----------> SDL2 for the PPC403 <------------!! __ Enter Download Trigger __ Flash Image Has Valid CRC, Loading Image....
