Greetings List! I have so many questions, eh?
Well, here's my next one. Now that I've ressurected my HiPer NMC's,
have coupled them with HiPer-II ARC's, and have HiPer DSP modem cards,
I should have a v.90 capable platform. I'm using the following
software Versions:
HiPer DSP: 3.5.12 (lists v.90/X2 settings in the configuration tables)
HiPer ARC-II: 5.3.2 (I think I saw somewhere that V.90/X2 is DISABLED)
HiPer NMC: 8.7.2 (Software Compatibility Version 8.2.0, whatever that
means) V.90 DISABLED
So, by nature of the function being DISABLED on my ARC and NMC, I
assume that v.90 will not work? Or will it work since the cards
support it?
I really, really need v.90 support for deploying this unit (in two
days), so I guess I'm going to have to use my older NMC card. Said
older NMC card (grey handles, 486sx cpu) lists v.90 as supported.
However, will using the HiPer ARC-II which doesn't support v.90 cause
a problem? I'm pretty sure it doesn't support v.90, but I just can't
remember where to look.
I'd appreciate anyones' advice or thoughts on the subject. Thanks!
