Hiper ARC Question

For those of you familiar with the Hiper ARC's - Is there any way you know of to completely erase the configuration from a telnet prompt? I want to do the equivelant of choosing option 13 from the bootup menu except I want to be able to do from Telnet - I want to be able to do a complete reconfig of a HiperARC remotely. Any suggestions?

v.92 disabeling itself

I have a 12 slot chassis with 2 ARCs and a Pentium NMC that seems to turn off v.92 after I set it. My software versions are: NMC - 8.6.3 ARCs - 5.3.3 DSP - 3.5.109 I can set the v.92 master and other other v.92 items in the card config... but it seems to just 'turn back off'. Port tap (--syslog capture...)

how can i disable port tapping on HiperARC V4.1.59. default user's port tapping is disabled (as shows "show user default"). no tap interfaces configured (as i think), but there are lot of messages coming on syslog like a: --syslog capture: 0100030c slot:13/mod:4 --syslog capture:stop --syslog capture: 0300120c slot:13/mod:19 --syslog capture:stop --syslog capture: 02000f0c slot:13/mod:16 --syslog capture:stop can anybody help on disabling taps or decoding this messages?

Our telco is offering to switch to Round Robin for us. Do we need to change the settings on our Total Controls to Round Robin as well for this to work, or does this only affect things at card level? Any experiences with letting the Total Controls use First Available, and letting the telco Round Robin? -- -Tim --------------------------------------------------------------------------- You are talking about Road Robin on your spans correct? I have everything V.92 enabled. However, I've found that with some modems (Lucent/Agere specifically), if you enable PCMupstream on the client modem (which isn't enabled by default), that you get WAY slow downstream speed. One particular case was getting 49333 down/26400 up. Enabled PCMupstream and got 28800 down/33333 up.
