Problems w/ a Total Control

Hello everyone. I have a US Robotics Total Control Enterprise Network Hub that is having some issues. People dialing in tend to get weird errors, like 619 and ppp errors. Also, they get disconnected after being connected for a short period of time. The only thing that helps is rebooting, but you have to do that several times for it to pick up calls. Any help yall could give would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Chris Hamersly

What version of code are you running on the (H)ARC? If you have a HiperNMC then buy a 128/16 HiperARC (from this list) for about $250 and upgrade all the cards to the same TCS version. >Will dialup (dialin) work ok? Most likely when you reboot the DSPs after updating the code, they will not come up, but even if they do, I do not believe they will function properly. Note: Once you flash the DSPs to TCS4.5 a special procedure is required to downgrade back to TCS 4.3, otherwise you could damage your DSPs. >Will my TCM see and be able to configure that DSP cards? More than likely once you update the cards past the TCS version of your HNMC, you will only see Question Marks. One of our DSP cards sometimes gets restarted. It sends Management Failure trap and after that Watchdog Timeout trap. What can cause that?

HARC Software v5.x.x suggest that you should have 128MB especially if you are doing any extra routing like ospf or IPX.
