Sting not in Color Line Arena

The French journal L'Equipe of the 10th of September featured an article in its handball section mentioning that Sting will play a concert on November 10th to celebrate the opening of a new sports arena in Germany, namely the Color Line Arena situated at the Volkspark Hamburg with a Capacity of 16.886 Seats. It will be the new "Number One" location for sport, shows and entertainment in Hamburg. (120 events per year are planned). This was already rumored for many weeks. However ... this will not happen as was confirmed by Color Line Arena's management. News from one of my best friends in Mexico they report that last night Andy Summers they do a show at the new Theatre of Mexico City with Rick Fierabracci on bass and Anastacio Tos Panos on drums.They do a great show with and unusual end of the show playing Message In A Bottle.The rest of the set was very similar to the other ones that they do Andy on his recent TOUR.Andy Summers playedtwo nights at the New Theatre 11th and 12th . Hi, this is my latest CD for sale on eBay. It's called 'Reunion Concert 1986' and includes the complete last public performance by THE POLICE (Amnesty International Benefit concert in Meadowlands, New Jersey, 15 June 1986)! Here is the tracklist: 1) Message In A Bottle, 2) King Of Pain, 3) Driven To Tears, 4) Every Breath You Take, 5) Roxanne, 6) Invisible Sun (during this song Bono of U2 on joins on vocals!), 7) I Shall Be Released (all star finale incl. The Police, U2, Peter Gabriel, Lou Reed and others). This CD (original factory made 'silver' CD, *not* a CD-R) was released in Europe on the famous Swinging Pig label (TSP-CD-097) in 1989 and is very hard to find nowadays! In my opinion this is one of the best Police gigs ever!! Sound quality is superb - taken from an inline source. Artwork (incl. 4 page booklet) + disc are in 'as new' condition. A great Police collector's item! ViergeI just read in a sport's french newspaper yesterday, that Sting will play concert on november 10th, for a new sport place called Arena something(!) (colena or else), I don't remember but I think Deutch Fans will correct me. Somethint to do with Deuth Handball Team No? LOVE &STING KTY from FRANCE

Stew joins the Doors for good??

>From Billboard.com Police drummer Stewart Copeland and Cult vocalist Ian Astbury (singing the late Jim Morrison's parts) weren't just temporary additions to the Doors' lineup for last weekend's show in Fontana, Calif. As Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek tells Billboard.com, "Stewart is drumming from here on out. Ian is singing from here on out. We're not doing a TV show. We're playing live music. This is the new Doors lineup for the 21st century." As previously reported, Copeland is filling in for drummer John Densmore, who is battling the hearing disorder tinitus but may participate in sessions for the Doors' first new studio album in more than 30 years. "We will go into the recording studio in the year 2003," Manzarek says. "We're going into composition [of new material] next week." A North American/European tour is also in the works for next year, and while Manzarek says it is too early to predict how extensive the jaunt may be, he promises it "will definitely not be 60 cities." The Doors have one more show on their schedule for now: Sept. 29 concert at Molson Park in Barrie, Ontario, just outside of Toronto.
