I have been a member of this list for close to ten years now and though I don't post that often myself, I read every single post. I have really enjoyed hearing all the opinions over the years and especially the reviews with this new tour. I just had to write and let you all know since I know that you guys will get the significance of this for me! The guy on the other end of the phone got it since I was jumping up and down and screeching like an idiot! :) You may remember me posting something earlier this year about how to get the best possible seats for a show since I would only be able to attend this one in New Orleans. I want to thank everyone who responded. I actually ended up getting Floor Section A Row 24(?) and was of two minds about it. I wanted something closer in order to see really well but then again just happy to be going, you know? Now I have front row seats and am ecstatic! I actually cried in traffic today listening to Truth Hits Everyone! (I guess the truth finally hit me!) So now...I need to know how to scam my way backstage from the front row! Any suggestions? Also, if anyone is interested in two tickets to New Orleans let me know! Thanks for letting me share my joy with you! Quick Anaheim Review

Anaheim was my third show of the tour, after the Vancouver fan club and Vancouver "opening night" shows. The great thing about this show was that the venue was 10 minutes from my home, so an easy to/from show experience. First off, these were the worst seats I've had. Way, WAY up in the back. We ended up having some sound issues... none of us could hear Sting well when he was talking, and some of the high end was lost on Andy's guitar and Stewart's drums. However, this was by far the best show, even with those substantial limitations. The audience (as mentioned previously) was wonderful. Great singing and participation. The band played tighter, and faster, when compared to Vancouver, which made for better interpretations of The Police classics. Some specific points: (1) Don't Stand So was better, Every Little Thing was MUCH better. Both were closer to versions burned into my brain, and were played with gusto. (2) Spirits In The Material World and Murder By Numbers were gone. Good choices IMHO. Though I like Murder By Numbers, it slows the show. Spirits never fit and was plodding at best, so removal was a VERY good idea. (3) Epic versions of Walking On The Moon, Walking In Your Footsteps, and Wrapped Around Your Finger. Basically, anything Stewart was heavily involved with or where the song title started with "W" was OK by me :-) (4) The light show was much improved. The walking Dinosaur bit is up on the video screens instead of on a lame sheet thankfully. Wrapped Around Your Finger includes some candle scenes from the classic video... nice touch, very tasteful. Also, Next To You was lit more vividly to end the show. (5) My sister, a big music fan, was totally blown away by it. My wife, not much of a music fan, also enjoyed it very much. For those going to Dodger Stadium on Saturday, have a great time! Dan

People are individuals, keep the glaring generalizations and political red/blue stereotypes to yourself. Also, Anaheim is the home of "The Angels", not the "the Angeles". Yeah, you could be right on that. I try to ignore what I don't want to do (or can't) by going on tour as well, lol... Good theory, and it is going to be a hard act to follow. I hope this doesn't mean this is IT for him and wanted to end w/a bang. No pun here, but I'll give you a math problem so you can figure it out... recall that the Canadian price was $25. It's $1.25 per page. That is unless you count the front and backs as two pages, then the price goes down to 62.5 cents per page....
