The thing U2 has going for it is that U2 has continued to record great albums (in my opinion) the entire time The Police have been away. Up to and including their latest album. ohhh noooo michelle,that's very unkind and unprofessional for a big fan as i suppose u are!! You should lissen to it and try to lissen also a fantastic job as" Welcome to the voice is!!! " As songs from the labirynth this album is incredible well done ...I think in the song number 4 called " unfailing welcome to the voice" and repeated again with "eloge infini de la voix humaine" is the best way to lissen to Sting voice so warm and concetrated... I now the first time you 'll say " Oh my god ..i could sleep..." but after 3 time you 'll enjoy it , you can't immagine how much.... JUST DO IT !!! Writer's Block?

Something just occured to me... Sting's last studio album of original material came out four years ago. He followed the Sacred Love tour with the Broken Music tour. That was followed by the lute project. And now The Police will be touring for over a year (I'm certainly not complaining about that). Before Sting sits down to write and record another album, it will probably have been six years between albums - the longest amount of time between any of his albums. Could he be avoiding writing new material by constantly touring?
