The one review on the Kompakt Orb I've heard was that it's boring and sounds like Fehlmann. Still waiting before going to try to buy this because if it sucks I don't wanna waste my time and money. Sounded like the Fehlmann record might be interesting but again, only one person has commented. I don't remember any review of the remixes disk though someone said the Orb cut was lame... I think. Actually it's been really quiet of late. It seems we went a week at one point with only one digest. Freaky. OT: capital punishment

It is more expensive for the State to kill someone than to keep them in maximum security lock up for 45 years (which is way longer than most people survive in prison). If an innocent man is killed is that a good use of your tax dollars? http://www.innocenceproject.org/ Stringer's childish rant is typical of the American right wing: As long as it's not me, fuck 'em. That any person's life can be reduced to a cash value (he's in prison so he's worhtless) is a sad comment on the inhumanness of the right wing. I believe the Nazis calculated the worth of their prison labor in a similar fashion. Also, are you aware that the more harsh punishment becomes in a given State, the worse the crime rate becomes? Murder rates are highest where the State murders its citizens. The single greatest correlation with lower crime rates is social and economic parity. I think I said this before but a HUGE chunk of the American populace is morally, mentally, and philosphically slightly less advanced than an angry 13 year old boy with bad skin. PJK: Those mixes are very very rough just now. There's most of an album lying about in worse shape. Thanks for your notes. "O America" is kind of a joke song. I was shooting a little more for John Cougar Mellencamp as opposed to Styx (Oh Mama I'm in fear for my life from the long arm of the laaaaaaaw!). This album is mostly vocal tracks with some interludes thrown in. I needed to get it out of my system for a few more years. Now I'm saving up for a new computer so I can start using Ableton Live! and Reason and Absynth and stuff. Tim C: Go back and read the archives from the last time Kwissy stopped by for a few months. He's being extremely nice right now, trust me. He hasn't even called me a useless twat yet. Kris: The whole world knows Palestine is the driving force behind fundamentalist muslim terrorism. Except for us. The rest of the world also recognizes Bush as a dangerous, stupid little fucker as do about half of us. Remember, the Nazi party gained power with a weak majority as well and the same nationalistic rhetoric we hear from DC these days (except for the stuff about Jews... they talk about that stuff privately). We now have more of our population in prison (as a percentage) than Germany ever had, even if you include the millions that perished in the prison camps. We have five times more of our population in prison than Stalinist USSR (slightly less than five times if you include those that died in the purges), seven times (that's close though I'm not positive I'm right)than South Africa at the height of Apartheid, and we have almost ten times more of our people in prison than Europe does. yup - i fully support the death penalty for the same reasons and many more and i'm 94.2% against abortion ......weeeee!!!!!! i believe in allowing abortions under certain circumstances....rape being the most obvs i also think that after a certain period you surely should not be allowed to no matter what partial birth abortion is SICK if any of you are ok with that you too have a truly sick mind hey now peeps! "what am i supposed to do about all of my blind spoon fed liberal whiny friends????" ;) touche well....the politics are surely off topic.....but in the months that i've been on this list - i've never seen it so lively lol! i'm biting my tongue now......i've already read SO much that i just can't get into when we're *working* on getting away from this topic lol!

I didn't really know this was coming out last month. Not too much mention on here. I'm glad, it was a surprise. I was at this Hollidazzle parade thing we have here in Minneapolis where they have all these people and floats covered in xmas lights (what if it rains I kept thinking) and we ran in front of some floats to the record store to look for the new Handsome Boy Modeling school and my buddy noticed this gawdy packaging. Meat Beat vs Orb is great, cuz even Orb can't fuck up a good Meat Beat release. The first and 3rd songs are better than the boring, 18 minute 2nd song. "I've seen children come off of that dancefloor like soldiers fighting some kind of insane war" Oh BTW. What with the complaint from the new listee? How the fuck do you feel you are entitled to complain? No offense, but I'd rather have an ex-orb member spewing bullshit then some stranger reporting what was in alex's stool and andi's vitals every hour on hour. Its like when people move to your town and the next day want the Sex Education book taken off the top shelf at the grade school. Fuck off. Join the fucking Yahoo orblist if you want only 'pure' news. Sorry, I guess i'm just bitter Dimebag Darrell got shot. He was nice to his fans, but I hear a racist. I've always waited for someone to shoot at a band like that.
