Best and Worst track off of B&T?

Felix Atagong first had to fight a panic attack because there was actually an Orb related question on this list saying: +.+.+ What's the best and worse track off of B&T and why? What version of B&T, that mf LX released two of them! But anyway: Bad: Aftermath because I don't like the rap Good: Hell's Kitchen Excellent: Kompania (the one with the K) I like B&T because there is a lot of everything: The Ultraworld camp: although there is no Guy Pratt (and no Steve Hillage either) on this record, Orb creator Jim Cauty makes a re-entry. More a one-time novelty act than a real collaboration it makes the fan hungry for an extra lump of. Custerd. The Pomme Fritz camp: Fil le Gonidec was part of the tomfoolery on Pomme Fritz and co-wrote Toxygene for Orblivion and A Mile Lump Of Lard for Cydonia (forgive him Egnable). The Orbus Terrarum camp: Simon Phillips has been in several occidental valleys, and co-wrote the Badorb's epitaph: I'm The Red Worm. Nick Burton has been promised golden mountains before. The Cydonia camp: John 'Witchman' Roome, who helped Cydonia a bit signs on 5, of what can be considered the best tracks, including Green Ginger, Hell's Kitchen and Tower Twenty Three. The Swiss Fella camp: Thomas Fehlmann has been everywhere over the years, but this record shows him more of a sideman. Gee Strings and Dilmun are nothing but Orb copyrighted solo-outings but Green Ginger and Compania show his valuable input, especially on the blast master mix from From A Distance (UK 2004 version). hey kris - i surely don't hate you for what i think is your delusional world view so please don't hate on me ;) just to clear up my stance on things: there is a difference between an abortion and the death penalty - one person is a criminal and the other is 420% innocent. now with abortion....the conflict obviously comes from "when is a fetus a human life?" my view is that it is a human life after a certain amount of months of development - before the child is born. when you can look at a sonagram and see a fully formed child with all human features and that child is moving around yada.....that's a damn person in there. so just as you can say "who are we to decide what happens to a woman" we can also say who is that woman to decide a baby should die? after all SHE was the one that created it. sure it takes two for that tango but I honestly feel that in the end it's the womans fault - because she is the one getting pregnant and she COULD have prevented it. the baby can and should be given up for adoption if the child is unwanted. My biggest beef with abortion is using it as a form of birth control for STUPID women. so obviously you all don't think a baby is a human until it is born....so we'll really have to agree to disagree. as for the death penalty - these people are criminals. sure.....we commit the act of murder by killing them - but you know what? you've done some serious vile shit against humanity to get yourself in that situation in the first place. sure a couple of innocents have been put to death for crimes they didn't commit.....but that percentage is REALLY f'n small. and it doesn't change the convictions for those that support the death penalty. plenty of people have jail sentences for crimes they didn't commit.....but we're not giving up on jailing criminals are we? i've heard before that executing the death penalty costs more than life in prison. well.....that gap can surely be reduced by taking away televisions, weights, schooling.....and all of the other cushy bullshit we give to convicts. they have WAY too many luxuries in there. they deserve to be treated like the animals they have proved themselves to be. as for the comment about the more strict - the more criminals doesn't syngapore have like the most strict punishments in the world? and is pretty much one of the safest places in the world? really i don't care though - there are too many criminals that know they can "get off" if they get caught and that provides incentive and reasoning for commiting a crime.

C'mon everyone, I log onto this list everyday so that I can find out what's going on with Alex and company. I'm sorry that some of you think that they have become irrelevant, but they're still relevant to me. All of this political banter is just making my head spin - I didn't subscribe to this list for that. Everyone here has such a beautiful soul, and I've found out so many wonderful things about the Orb that I otherwise wouldn't have. Examples of really worthwhile, and interesting things I've found out. 1. Alex is a very nice and intelligent person to talk to, if you give him a chance. Not only that but he's a true musician, and very "technical". If you want to know the secrets to all of those clicks and whistles on any Orb album just ask. He's more than happy to tell you. 2. All these new Orb albums that come out on these obscure labels. Who would've thunk it that after Cydonia these guys wouldn't be on MCA anymore. 3. Alex Patterson DJ Dates. You wanna see someone match beats, and play some "music?" then go see a juke box. I personally like to watch someone who throws all that stuff out the window, and proceeds to play music that originates from the dreams of the gods. Why match beats when you're busy playing crickets, and tumbleweeds. I think if we all put our minds to it we can block out what this "Thrash" is saying. Next time you see one of his posts just say "I'm not talking to clouds on a sunny day!!!!" It works for me!!! Have a good weekend everybody! :D

The list abuse in the last weeks has gotten serious. Thrash's posting of a way-OT article is the last straw. This forum's totally un-moderated. What's going to happen? Do we have to unsubscribe? Because the daily digest is no less irritating than spam. Hearing the Orb become more and more irrelevant is hard enough to tolerate, but to sift through the immature political rantings and flame-bating (be dignified - JUST LET IT GO!!) is totally gotten OUT OF HAND. Enough!
