hello Wayne, Congratulation on your "new" boat. Those are nice cruisers. You might consider puttin gyour name on the Mboat list registeration. Will you be trailering or going to keep your boat in a marina? We had a fun sail this past Sat. at Somerville. We had small boats up to the largest cruisers at the marina. It was a joint outing with the TAMU club. Well stay in touch and looking forward to sailing with you. Montgomery 23 Offshore Cutter

Some updates on the 23 Cutter are coming. Jerry Montgomery has been back working on the molds and details along with me this last week and we plan to continue. We've been arc welding the deck mold exterior structure (done now) and plan on pulling the completed hull and setting her up on a cradle shortly. We have number one sold and the owner is considering entering the boat in the SCA Cruiser Challange this summer at Monterey Bay California. Bob

Mighty Mouse update

Hi all, Just returned from Ca. Stopped by Norsea to see how mighty mouse was coming. Happy to report that when I arrived, Bob E. and two well trained associates were all putting their full attention on her hull and deck! While we were there, we decided to add a stern pulpit and boarding ladder. Bob tells me that Mighty Mouse should be ready to be picked up in about two weeks. Can hardly wait! Chuck Mighty Mouse #???

Eugene update

This is a repy from the CRB2002 distribution list. ", Doug at this time I won't be able to be on 'the list', due to my USCG obligations, though it sounds great. I am currently on Patrol aboard a C-130 doing 'Iceberg Patrol', up in the REALLY North Atlantic! It sure would be nice to feel some weather above freezing for a few hours LOL! I've been up here since after Christmas, and expect to be 'home' in Mystic,CT by 01March02. Though I thought that WAS good news, I should've kept quiet about my desire for warm weather.........I was 'selected', as they say in the military, to participate in the 'Port Security Patrol' around the Guantanomo Bay Cuba Naval Station. Oh great!, from -40'f to who knows how hot this Summer....Geeze, wish the loonies would give us a break, at this rate I won't be able to even launch Nellie by the end of June. I actually got so bummed out at one point during this 'mission' that I considered putting my M17 up for sale :( So yeah, delete me from the list, at my regret :( Pass this message on the the rest of the folks on msog, I won't have time to.
