M17 needs new mast

Funny, my mast gained a crinkled crook about the same distance from the tabernacle a few years ago!! I bought the Dyer mast, notwithstanding the distance from Connecticut to Kansas, it all worked perfectly, no Mods required. Hey! Won’t go into the particulars but I got a crinkled crook in my M17 mast about the distance from the tabernacle to the pulpit. Anyways, I’m in Texas in need of a new mast...I’ve visited dwyer.com where they show different shaped and sized tubes. Anyone know of someplace nearer to Texas than Connecticut? Also, depending on the manufacturer, I assume there will be different shapes, dimensions of tubing. What manufacturers can come up with the closest shape/ dimensions tube? Keel Guide posts - A MUST HAVE

Yesterday while retrieving my Monty 15 we knocked out the trailer keel guide cause the boat was not straight on. Waded waist deep in water trying to sort ot all out. Today I installed a set of 60 inch tall CE Smith Keel guide posts. Seems sturdy enough and will help wife and I guide the boat straight onto the trailer and avoid the craziness we just endured. Aside from that 13 -10 knots of wind and the Monty put huge smiles on our faces. Boat can really bogey upwind. Judy the sails ROCK J Smiley and Karen magoo252(a)comcast.net

'grey mist' for sale/sail

Hi All: Well things do change. As my wife and I are spending more and more time in retirement weekending on Fern Ridge reservoir it has become abundantly clear to her that we need a larger boat. The good part of this is that it looks as if a 'recycled' Rhodes 22 from the amazing Stan Spitzer at General Boats is in my future. The bad part is that I have to part with 'grey mist'. PLUS - Anderson cabin winches, teak companionway & bridge deck (1998) , Whale bilge pump connected to crossed scuppers, Tiller-Tamer, sail & tiller covers, 2 hp Honda long shaft motor, tricolor/running/foredeck/stern/cabin lights, swim- ladder, adjustable backstay, in-mast halyards, rigged for asymmetrical sail, topping lift, Harken traveler, jiffy reefing, jib downhaul, sheet bags, all lines lead aft for single handling. Hey Mike, I'm no expert but I don't think that there is any way to convert CF/S to a speed in mph or knots as that would be totally dependant on the depth and width of the body of water you are talking about. A narrow river would be running much faster than a wider one in order to carry the same amount of water in the same period of time. At least...I think?
