Cabin stove / heaters

The model 800 mini-stove with the 220 blower lid looks to be an ideal set-up for a galley model M17 or a M23. Unfortunately, they are VERY expensive. Adds up to a little over $1500 with all the installation components. Larry

I didn't do all this work on this old girl to sail her on Lake Havasu/Lake Pleasant and neither did you! 3 days of anticipation up, One great week of sailing and friends, 3 sucky days home. Two weeks out of the Arizona monsoon season. It'll be a great shakedown cruise for two weeks in the San Juan/Gulf Islands in 09. Lake of the the Woods

Oops! My bad. And ....if you ask me.....Lake of the Woods looks much more inviting. Lake of the Ozarks, turns out is pretty narrow, and everything I've read about it sounds like powerboat/party/bar heaven. Not really what I'd want to drive that far for. Quite a drive up to MN but if we were to get a group together willing to go next Aug. I think there is a good chance we'd be willing to go. Figure we'd have a week of driving (roundtrip) for a week of sailing. Let's see....here in Havasu in August the weather is ..oh about 115 with a 60 degree dewpoint, humidity and thunderstorms. I'm betting it's be a little nicer up there in MN, huh? Bones???Definitely have to start putting something together pretty soon though (next couple of month) in order to guarantee time off to go. Oh yeah, Bones ......you need to twist Gary O's arm to go along with Larry, as he has another one of the yellow 17's! I'll work on him. Lake of the Ozarks sail????

hmmmmmm....first I heard of the Ozarks sail. Sounds pretty tempting...What do you say Larry?....Let's look at doing it! 1500 miles...It's only 3 days driving. That's why these trailer-sailors are so great. My buddy keeps talking about buying a 30 foot this or a 40 foot that. I said that's great, I guess. But while you drive over to the same place every time on the coast to go sailing, we've been able to sail the San Juans, Ventura, Oxnard, Channel Islands, Lake Havasu and Lake Pleasant near Phoenix in a period of 10 months. That rocks! Starting to look at Mexico and the Sea of Cortez for next year since it's only about 10 hours from here. I know you get around with Corndog a lot.......what say you?
