A while back someone posted a pic of the modifications they made to the trailer post. I think they moved the "snubber" above the winch. Is there any chance of posting that pic again? I'm refurbishing my trailer for the trip and thinking of changing the snubber location too. Thanks John Miss T M17 # 372

Perimeter Trip Changes

The lure of seeing the new M23 and being part of the Chesapeake Bar Rendezvous was too much to resist, so I've re arranged my trip. Basically, I will be going counter clockwise this time. Thanks to all who said they would like to sail in company with me, and I hope you all (I'm picking up southern-eze) aren't inconvienced by the change. Dan, Thanks for the input. That National Geographic article sure gets ones attention. The last time I sailed in the San Juans it was in a Tayana 37, this time it should be a lot more interesting. With the large whirlpools, tides and currents in the San Juans, I'm planning the itinerary very carefully. Do you have any recommendations on where to put in, where to go and what to avoid? I do hope we can do some sailing together, so as we get closer to the dates we'll have to keep in touch. John Miss T M 17 # 372

I see on the newer models the traveler and boom attachment are a couple feet further back. This looks like a handier arrangement for being able to make adjustments while at the tiller without having to reach forward through your passengers legs (although they may be shapely ones). Gloucester 19?

Anyone know anything about a Gloucester 19? It was made in the '80's and I'm looking at possibly buying one. (My preference is for an M-17, but this one fits more within my price range.) Thanks for any info.
