Hi Artur and everyone, I understand that the other NC date is June 17, in Amsterdam I think. I seem to remember that it was a festival date in Amsterdam too. Maybe one of you Euro-Zornlisters can tell us the truth? I know it was hard to find dates when everyone was available - that's probably why WSJD had to take the Wednesday date. Great info on Zorn in Warsaw. I understand, Naked City will play the Holland Festival on June 16 in Amsterdam. Does anyone have any other details for the Amsterdam show, or at least the Holland Festival... c'mon, Naked City in Amsterdam, how rockin' is that?!?! Brian's still around, but he's been really busy with a MAJOR project that has called for travel. He's active on at least one jazz-related BBS I'm aware of, and recently attended the recording sessions for an upcoming Keith Rowe / John Tilbury 2CD set on Erstwhile and provided a scintillating preview on another mailing list. From memory of another old issue of the Wire I picked up, they played in London, Manchester (the RNCM) and a couple of other places. Like The 21st Centruy Schizoid Band, I'd welcome seeing them play live, but hope to hell they won't bother with any new recordings. Or 2003 live albums (ones fromtheir original era are fine).
