The Cat at Downtown Music Gallery (who says he's talked to Zorn personally) said there is no Naked City date... At the very best he has them doing a studio recording, but even that is unlikely... A fewe years ago de Balie in Amsterdam had organized a Filmworks special: They shoed all the films that had Zorn's music and played them. I would suspect it to be something of that sort again. Do the posted dates imply that Electric Masada will not be part of the event? Shit if they play in July, when will we take our vacations? So far I had not managed to get any information on that, but speculations were that it would be a comission of a classical piece. Or maybe Electric Masada. But who would expect NC??? I will post all relative information as it becomes available, but this will probably be in May. I am also planning a visit to NY in September, so NYers please inform us of information concerning the Zornfeast there! manolis
