Hello, Does anyone have TCM 4.7 working with 486 NMC? I am currently on TCM 4.0, but I have trouble with 'leaking' ip pool on HiPer Arc. Eventaully I need to reboot ARCs to clear up the problem. Thanks, -- Igor

Don't have a solution - but sharing my experience: First, dialing into a Hiper DSP, I always get 45K+, so I have to restrict my modem to V34 in order to do this. When I do, If I dial into an analog quad modem on a POTS line, I ALWAYS get 33600 for a connection. Dialing into my Hiper DSP's, same phone line, same computer, same modem, (when limited to V34) I can only get 26400. I've always assumed that it had to do with some loss of analog quality in the telco's AD conversion. But would be interested if any one does have a solution a solid reason as to why this is. I've suspected that the same quality-loss issue is responsible for the fact that I'm only getting 45-49K rather than 53K. At first, I thought it was DSP-related, but I don't think so. When dialing into my DSP's from another town 30 miles away (different telco) I can connect at 53333 every single time, with the same modem that only gets 45-49K here locally. In theory, I'm guessing that the other telco has better AD conversion. USR Radius Attributes...

Does anyone know where there is documentation on the meaning for various radius attributes? I'm interested in "USR-Chasis-Call-(Slot, span, channel). These do not seem to be what I hoped for (T1 timeslot info). I would like to start filling my call history database with information pertaining to what channel on what T1 a call came in on. The phone company seems to be screwing with my lines again, and I need to tell them which line it is. Calls are dropping.. slow connects, and such. Last time this happened, we called the telco, and they found an "incorrect setting that was changed a few days ago". Why they'd change something without having a work request or notifying us is beyond me.. We're also getting alot of v32Terbo connects as opposed to v90. In this day and age, I'd expect more v90s... Perhaps one or two of my modems arnt up to date? (We have 12 quad modem cards, and 2 HiperDSP cards in one chasis). The NMC card dies after about 2 days of uptime, so we can't always get snmp info.. - - - Jon Myers The Circuit's Edge (ISP)

ftp breaking

Using my dial-up connection I connect to TC. When trying to upload files above 500KB via ftp the connection is reset by the ftp server.
