Hi Daniel, You will need an E1/R2 version of Hiper DSP code. The filename is in the format of HR******.DMF, where the *s are the version number. The HE******.DMF files are for E1/PRI and the HD******.DMF files are for T1/PRI. The R2 code is not generally available yet but there are beta and engineering releases that some customers have been using. (usr-tc) Latest E1/R2 code for HiPer DSP

Hi, I'd be grateful for information on how I can get access to the latest E1/R2 code for the HiPer DSP. Our nearest support is South Africa and they don't have access to the code for some reason. The latest information I have indicates that E1/R2 code is not yet in general release and as such, will probably not appear on the Total Service site for quite a while. I'm really getting desperate to get our HiPer DSPs interfacing to our telco's exchange (E1 R2 signaling, HDB3, Multiframing with no CRC) and look forward to any form of assistance anyone can provide to help us get our system online. Does anyone still run the Affinity DSL on their TotalControls? I am trying to set one up that we've had for a year now, but I can't get the command line to come up on the card. Does it use the same console cable as the HiperArcs and NMCs, and is there another way to configure it, say through the Viper DSL? Thanks. We have our HiPer DSP cards set to -11dB. There has been plenty of discussion about what the levels should be set at and we are currently lowering the transmit levels on a number of our NAS by 1dB each week to see what effect it has on call stability and connect speeds. I am trying to create an ARC filter that will make ALL HTTP traffic redirect to one specific site. Would the customer be able to get their mail with a dns lookup of the mail.xx.net mail server from an inside ip address or would they get connected then get a "could not locate the server" errror message. Don't know if it's a Good reason, but it looks like the plain-old-reason is that the links are incomplete for some of the docs. We'll try to get this straightened out...
