Hello,
I am new to the list and TC S/A Server. I am working
with a small ISP who is also new to TC S/A Server.
I am running version 6.0.90 under XP for testing.
I would like to add a small vendor dictionary so that
I can add a reply item to selected users' profiles.
According to the help file, the server supports
VSA's but I cannot find any additional documentation
that explains this.
I do not have access to the hardware but I do have
the TC S/A Server loaded and running. The version
that comes up when I run the Security and Accounting
Database Manager is V6.0.90 .
So far, I have edited dictnry.dat to include the
necessary VSA's. When I view the logs from the server
interface, it appears as though the new dictionary items
are being correctly loaded.
When I use a radius client such as NTRadping to test authentication
and send the server accounting data, it seems to work. I cannot
verify this because I cannot find out where the actual accounting
data is stored.
Questions:
1. How do I add a new vendor dictionary to TC S/A server?
2. How do I add the necessary reply item to the user profile?
If anyone can provide some information about this or point me
to some documentation, I would appreciate it.
