I tried upgrading from hd020019.dmf on a HiPerDSP to hd030512.dmf. Now the card doesn't work at all. I want to revert back to the hd020019.dmf but I can't find my file. Can someone email me this file? Thanks.

Good morning! Qwest started offering ISDN in our area recently. We have ordered one PRI to test the service out. I'm having a heck of a time getting it up and running, however. I get the DSP ALM light on, and depending on my NFAS settings (see below) I may get the LPBK/D-ALM light on. Qwest is using a Lucent 5E switch here. I'm using a single-span hiper DSP with 3.5.105 firmware. Reboots (watchdog timeouts)

We are getting a lot of card reboots. I get Management bus failure trap and watchdog timeout traps when reboot happens. On our one chassis, where NMC is V6.1.17, ARC V4.1.59, DSPs V3.1.7 we don't get any reboot, but on chassis where NMC is V7.1.8, ARC V5.2.102, DSPs V3.1.7 we get a lot of reboots (nearly 2 - 3 a day with 6 DSPs 1 ARC). What is reason for reboots? Is it NMC problem or DSP ? Does reflashing recycling power or something else help? Can I remove NMC card if I have static configuration of ARC (set chassis slot x type static ...) without disconnecting all users?

Hi, I'm searching for OID(s) which will show interface status (Oper and Admin state of DSP's interface connected to ARC). (Something like LIST INTERFACES in ARC's CLI) Can anybody help?

Sounds like the NMC is locking up for some reason. On the other hand, the ARC appears to be working, just with it's config wiped out and not receiving your input. First, I would remove the NMC and put it in another chassis and see if the behavior follows it or not. Also, test whether or not the ARC behaves the same when the NMC is out of the chassis. It may be possible that if the NMC is bad, it's causing the ARC to lock up, or the other way around, but that's only a guess. Also - to confirm that the cable is good - you should be able to plug it into one of the other cards in that chassis and you should get some response to pressing enter on your terminal. If not, then it is the cable. Also, retest your cable on a another chassis. Just because it WAS working, doesn't mean it is now. LCP errors/PPP timouts

I am having a huge problem with error 718 messages (PPP Timemouts according to Microsofts RAS error). How can I narrow this down? I think its a specific card (it only happens when we start to fill up > 60%. What on the ARC can cause a PPP timout? The chassis has 14 DSPs and 2 ARCs. I looked at just about every performace item in the Perf monitor but it all looks OK from what I can see. Any ideas? HiperARC - HiperDSP

Today I got some strange state of interface on DSP card: HiPer ARC shows that this channel's Oper status is down and Admin status is Up. When I check timeslots on that card it shows one timeslot in ds0CallDisc (this timeslot is "connected" to that interface). When this happened I had dynamic configuration of HiperDSP modems on ARC. Now it's static. What's reason of this state?
