Wish I could, that would be a great bday for me, but no such luck. I'm hoping to find cheapo tix for MSG on the 1st myself. Can't justify dragging my daughter to another show, but we'll be just blocks away, how can I not go? I think everyone I know in Toronto is already going to that show, but I will forward your email to a friend that recently moved from Toronto. Good luck! Anyone Looking For Tickets To Toronto Show - July 22nd?

Hi everyone. It appears as though I have two spare tickets that deserve a good home. They are pretty good, 300 level, a little in front of the stage on the Sting side... definitely very good sight lines to his Stingness. They were $108, but I'd be very happy to get $100 each. According to the press release: "With the sight-lines for this tour even better than anticipated, a new block of tickets is on-sale now for the previously sold out shows in Boston at Fenway Park - July 28th & 29th." Starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday, you should be able to buy tickets to see Sting & Co. for both performances ($225.00 and $95.00 plus applicable service fee) at Ticketmaster.com, all TicketMaster outlets, and by phone at 617-228-6000.

Hello everyone, Thanks for the patience while I questioned the information regarding the "Every Breath You Take - The Classics" DTS release. I think I have finally "uncovered" the answer to the "De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da" DTS question. Please read below. He told me that when A&M supplied him with the master tapes, they could not find the master tape for De Do Do Do. The only thing they had under that name was Stings original 1986 Demo of the same song. He said it was not a multitrack master tape, only a 2 track tape. Andy or Stewart do not appear on the track, its purely Sting's vocal, with all the instruments played by Sting himself. Sting recorded the demo during the 1986 sessions. But due to the arguments with Stewart, and how long it took to record Don't Stand 86, Sting wanted to fuck off once Don't Stand 86 was completed. So because of this, the new version of De Do Do Do only got as far as a demo. As this was the only other track that was going to be re-recorded, but after they completed Don't Stand 86, they never got round to re-recording De Do Do as they left the studio immediatly after Don't stand was finished. So hence the track only got as far as Stings 2 track demo, which is what you hear on the DTS. Bob confirmed there was only 1 master tape which was a 2 track master, whilst all the others were multitracks. De Do Do was the 2 track Sting Demo. I've heard the story about Stewart being on the demo, but it's just a Sting demo. I told Dietmar this story years ago, so you guys now know the truth. On the 2000 release of "Every Breath You Take - The Classics" DTS Version, there has been a lot of discussion regarding the version of "De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da." If I remember correctly, there was an article that quoted Andy or Stewart about the remastering of that song. Something about they couldn't fine the original tapes and therefore they had to use a different version of the song. Now on to the question, does anyone know what article and publication this was discussed in? I need specifics! My memory is not what it used to be, so any help would be great.
