Yeah, Stewart. Try being me right now. I wish I felt normal after a 20 minute shower. The anticipation is truly getting to me and it's just plain ridiculous that I've allowed myself to get this way. He's right about we "not normal" people wanting a different show, but really, we're not stupid, Sting IS in the band. That's just not his style, and if they do do something like that, then that's just a cherry on top of the reunion. I'm not expecting it, but will be pleasantly surprised if Stewart gets his way. Now I swore I'd stay off the boards as reading more is just making the insomnia/lack of appetite worse. I can't even listen to music now and enjoy it! What I really need is someone to slap me back down to earth--- It's just a band for goodness sake (ha, it's not working on me, but I'm trying!) Interesting atricle... The Police May 22, 2007, 5:55 PM ET Jonathan Cohen, N.Y. He may not be able to convince his bandmates, but Police drummer Stewart Copeland wants "the rules to be completely different" for the reunited trio at its upcoming Bonnaroo performance, including possible guest appearances from other artists. The group's first reunion show is Sunday (May 27) in Vancouver; it will headline Bonnaroo on June 16 in Manchester, Tenn. "When the stakes are really high, we always come out of the box swinging," Copeland said of high-profile gigs like Bonnaroo during a conference call with journalists today. "Sting and [guitarist] Andy [Summers] are two guys who just don't back down. The bigger the prize, the harder they fight." Police at AC

I noticed someone commented about the Atlantic City gig at Convention Hall and that is was a smaller gig. It is smaller than a stadium but it still holds 15K so its not some small Sting size venue. But is is a lot smaller than Meadowlands and its even slightly smaller than the Garden. Just so you know. I remember seeing the Police there during the Synchronicity Tour and it is one of my favorite shows. This is before the Hall was completed overhauled and you could move right up front and not have to stay at your seat etc. Awesome. David

I saw Sting on the BND day tour at AC and paid through the nose for those tickets (Trump Marina, I think). Those were good tickets but I paid over $200 each for those tickets and it was kind of a second honeymoon for my wife and I which we thoroughly enjoyed! I could not justify or explain to my wife spending the best part of $500 for two tickets which are "nosebleed " seats according to the seating diagram when we only spent half of that for decent seats at Hershey!! I was hoping to get affordable seats for this as a "third honeymoon"!! I still may plan on going down to AC that weekend and see if I can get some cheap tickets from scalpers at concert time I figure I will have nothing to lose!! Thankfully I already have tickets so this is just an experiment for me but ...wow..some of these ticket prices are high for your average Joe!!! Not long to go and best wishes to all that are going to Vancouver!!! I eventually got an offer of one great seat. Front center, row 19 for $350!!!! My budget and marriage would not survive this!! At 10.35 I got the chance to get two for $225 each up in the 200 levels at the back!! I am lucky I have already got tickets because this would have driven me insane!!! Ah, for row 19, not worth it (unless you're really tall!), so don't stress think twice about it. Most of my ticket search battle is due to the fact that I'm only 5' tall. Know how hard it is to wear heals to gain an extra couple of inches AND move like you want to? I have to plan my whole wardrobe around which shoes are dance/jumpable!!!! CD trading at concerts

With less than a week to go for the big event, I'm in full Police mode. I'll be attending the opener and "pre-opener" on the 27th and 28th in Vancouver. I've spent time converting a few cool vinyl bootlegs to CD, complete with coverart, with the intention of trading with other fans at the shows (I'll also be in St. Paul on 7/3 and NYC on 8/3). SO....if anyone has any interest in making some copies of their rare Police shows and wants to TRADE, please contact me. I will be at Jo-Anne's Shark club party.
