I haven't gotten emails for weeks here, is it quiet, or is this why? Hope all of you vying for Fanclub tix got them today! List clean-up and purge

I noticed recently that a high percentage of people subscribed to this mailing list were not receiving emails due to the "bounce processing" the Mailman software has. Because of the age of this list, it is inevitable that people are going have their email bounce from time to time. So I have gone through the entire list and turned on email for anyone who had it shut off automatically due to a bounce. If you wish to not be on the mailing list for The Police, please use the web address at the bottom of this message to unsubscribe.

The Police Fan Club's "exclusive gift"

Hello everyone, Part of the deal when I joined "The Police Fan Club" was a vague promise of some merchandise. I quote from the website... "Membership in this Club gets you access to.... an exclusive gift available only to members" Has anyone received this "exclusive gift" or have any idea what it is? I've been a member now for almost two months, and I've received nothing. I hate griping at an exciting time like this (i.e., awaiting the tour), but I think I'm justified... Am I? UPDATE - Campaign to Rebroadcast KXLU Madam Wong's

Hi all, Thanks for sending in your request to rebroadcast The Police live at Madam Wong's in 1979. It definately got their attention. Their promotions department is digging through the massive KXLU vaults to locate the recording. At the moment, they still have not found it. Does anyone know who opened up for The Police @ Madam Wong's in 1979? If they find it, they have said they will rebroadcast the show. I'll keep the mailing list posted on any progress. If anyone has any details to offer about this specific gig, please pass them along to me. It mayhelp KXLU relocate where they stored this recording. Thanks again everybody.
