Hey Everyone, At 12pm exactly, i was on my work computer checking my watch and was ready to go. After all the passcode qualification and login in and encryptions ... I got my FLOOR seats at 250$ a pop ! My best friend wanted to spend the money so i got him a ticket so. I am in row CC at the Montreal show, don't know how far i am from the stage but my friend told me they always start with double letters so i am guessing that i am close enough. My hands were trembling hoping i wouldn't do any mistakes to screw my transaction. I got my receipt and my tickets are in the mail ! All my colleagues from work want to go, but they are all getting their tickets at the saturday public sale. If my best friend from Toronto goes to the show i will most likely attend that one too ... That would be amazing if it happened. I think the press conference they did was amazing, the songs Sting picked out to play was perfect. I hope they decide to play all the songs they have rarely played live. I would love to hear stuff like "Secret Journey", "Deathwish", "It's Alright for you", "Next to you", "Driven To Tears", "Shadows In The Rain" (Totally love this one live), "Synchronicity I and 2" These were just to name a few. I wonder if Sting will bring out his stand up and fretless basses, i noticed a brought the bass pedals during the press conference ... Toootalllyy awesome ! So yeah... MSG and whatnot are at the end of the first North America leg. Nevermind what I said a moment ago! What I really meant was that... um... they'll be back in October to play some more! Maybe they really do pay attention to the boards. The one song I figured they'd actually play and that I wanted to hear on Monday was voices. Think my luck has worn out. The fact that Monday happened, they did Voices and Fiction Plane is opening? I'm in heaven. Will, hang in there. Good karma will come your way. Always felt like karma was never on my side as I never won any of those tickets over the years on sting.com. Now I know why ... if I had known I was destined to be offered the ultimate dream come true experience, I'm sure I would have suffered the rejection (or bad karma thoughts) all over again. I think for all of us die hards, something will strike us to make us realize our decades of devotion was not in vain. For some of us that haven't seen them, that mother lode may just be seeing them, period. Nosebleeds accepted! I'm just happy the band I loved from the teens had staying power, and that their music still moves me 30 years later. Bad Karma..

I think David (could be wrong, if so I apologize) hopes there won't be bad karma on this list. I have been a long time lurker on this list. I am sure it has been close to 10 years (8 years in the US) and have rarely seen any negative posts on this list. It does happen but for the most part everyone is on the same page. Even more so now with everyone having the same goal..." a ticket to our dreams". I have been a Police fan since 1979 but as I was born in 1969 age was against me seeing The Police..too young!!! I was about 14 or 15 when they did the Synchronicity Tour and pestered ma & pa for tickets for any of the Wembley Arena shows..no joy....gotta concentrate on skool...yeah that worked. Oh well I thought, I leave school at 16 (leaving age in UK) and will get a job and be able to plan my own Police trips. Sting's solo tour came (DOTBT) and was excited to get tickets to the RAH. My first ever concert(Jan 86) and I was seeing His Royal Stingness (HRS). Great I thought, He will get this out of his system and I will see The Boys live................................ fast forward to 2007...20 odd Sting concerts and still waiting!!! While I freely admit I am envious of all who have tickets so far I am heartened by the fact that these are true Police fans who also are looking out for each other and "gasp" are not afraid to criticize the method of selling tickets for this and previous tours....not all sheep here!!! Thank you to everyone for sharing my enthusiasm and proving I am not the only oddball that likes The Police!!! Sorry for the ramble but I have to do something to pass time 'til the gen sale this weekend!!! Yes, poor Patrick Stump had my hair flying in his face the whole time. I knew they were behind me, and normally I would have been a little self conscious about that, but the reason we were all there was so monumental, it just didn't matter who was near me. Dang, I could have been next to Elvis and it wouldn't have mattered. They were standing near us after the show and I stepped waaaaaayyyyyyy outside of my box. Got up the nerve to ask for a photo w/them "for my son". Ha. I think I like them better than him, but whatever.... They were very sweet and they let me know that I was standing (OK, dancing, jumping, hyperventilating) right in front of them (as if I didn't know). I got a kick out of hearing them check their device (blackberry, pearl?) for their chart positions in Europe while we were waiting for 11 to arrive! Don't know if Taylor Hawkins' question was aired during the press conference since I haven't seen it yet, but hope it made the cut!
