Oh, I know, that's what's so ridiculous. Michael Bolton? Please. It was Kiss 96.? The bobby Bones show in Austin. Precisely 7:07am because that's when my daughter's bus comes and I wouldn't leave the house because I had to hear it w/my own ears! Just stuck one leg out the door and kept listening. Phffffffftttttt. Do you hear that? The money sucking out of my account. I don't need to see the others, but my son will want to see Led Zeppelin and maybe Van Halen. I won't go if DLR is there though. He annoys the hell out of me, although I prefer to listen to that grouping on CD (not that I ever do that, if I'm forced to by a 12 year old). Michelle, What radio station was this? I didn't hear this but I guess it depends on the station and the time. I'm so excited too. And let me tell you something....there's no way you can confuse Michael Bolton with Sting....man, that's bad. Michael Bolton looks more like Sarah Jessica Parker. The alarm went off this morning to me hearing "We have a big announcement about two ancient bands getting back together..." Knew what that was all about, but of course had to keep the radio on. Finally, a teaser that worked on me! The DJ commented that he'd actually "pay" to go see them. Of course he's one that will probably get backstage passes. The guy's only 26, but did admit to not only liking them, but Sting. Kind of funny because when I mention him to my younger friends, They look at me like I'm talking about Barry Manilow or something. Another girl on the show thought Sting was MICHAEL BOLTON. Good Lord, am I old, or what? Someone on the list had requested info on live coverage of the Grammy's. Sorry, I deleted it thinking I didn't know the answer, nor would come across it. I found this while trying to find out if my Grammy member bother in law can still get tix! I like the last sentence in their blurb! michelle (yes, tx) The 49th GRAMMY Awards will take place live on Sunday, Feb. 11, at Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast in HDTV and 5.1 surround sound on the CBS Television Network at 8 p.m. (ET/PT). The show also will be supported on radio via Westwood One worldwide, and covered online at GRAMMY.yahoo.com. Additional performers, presenters and special segments will be announced soon.
