Hi everybody, I just received the Light Strings book by Ralph Gibson and Andy Summers and I wish to say to everybody that is a nice and very interesting book.The quality of pictures and desing is very nice and is complemented with text of the guitard history by Andy Summers. Many of the pictures that they are on the book are from the Andy's guitard private collection and all the pics are in colour and few ones in b&w and all are artistic takes. The book is presente in a hardcover and for those who likes the art of photography is a nice item..also for the Andy Summers fans. All the Best Toni from Catalonia, Spain.

STUNG THIS WEEK: The "real" STING celebrates his birthday weekend (10/2/51 - Happy Birthday, mate!) with two live performances in the Bay Area! Not to be outdone (ha!), Bay Area natives STUNG will commemorate their namesake's birthday with an unprecedented two night stand at the popular DAN'S IRISH BAR in Walnut Creek, just minutes away from the Chronicle Pavilion as well as a rocking East Bay mainstay for STUNG and Sting fans alike! Friday night (10/1), just to warm ourselves up, we are going ahead with a full night of Police hits, "Bee"-sides and even some upbeat Sting solo stuff (old and new!). On Sunday night, STUNG returns to Dan's for the privilege of hosting an exclusive VIP birthday engagement honoring Sting's birthday immediately following his Concord Pavilion performance (10:30). It would be a good idea to arrive at Dan's Bar a bit early, these will both be big events! We are sure "hoping" to see the Man that evening, so all Bay Area Police and Sting fans (as well as our own beloved Stung fans!) won't want to miss it these special engagements.
