What on earth was he wearing at the Brits? It looked like he'd got a pen leaking in his pocket, and as if someone dropped a tin of paint on his back. I'm no good at sewing myself either, but christ, I could have done a better job of the stitching on that suit. I did have to smirk at the 'spare tyre' he's getting around his waist. At least I'm not the only one getting (premature in my case) middle age spread. HI Folks, Some have asked for the files names. To try and make it easy I have zipped them into one called "Ross Viner & Stings 1st Gig.zip". IT's about 75 megs. Hope this helps. IF you don't find it at first, it's because I've turned off my computer. However it is on most of the time so try again:) I don't know if there is a better option for putting the video out there so feel free to suggest. Okay, I'd like to see a picture of that! Have a link to anywhere that might have pics???? I can't imagine a 'spare tyre'; all pictures of him in the last year make him look so skinny! Like he needs a good meal of potatoes or some such thing...the picture on All This Time makes him look so undernourished! Even my husband commented on it... So true, Terrence, and Soul Cages is absolutely my favorite album; Sting at his best in his songwriting. And the live concerts were excellent. I too have wondered whether his next album will reflect September 11. Inasmuch as we are all tired of hearing Fragile, this was a new song to most of the world. Watching the Olympics last night, they did a piece on the US female skeleton racer from Ohio, also a firefighter, and when they ran her dialogue with the Trade Center in the background, they played the opening of Fragile, all through the beginning chords, ending with the last guitar run of the song. So it seems this may become the 'anthem of peace'. Many feel Sting has sold out, become a 'fuddy duddy', become boring, but it's no small feat to be recognized for wanting peace in the world. It could be worse -- he could be Rod Stewart! Hello all, Now I am well aware that there is an exception to every rule, but Sting seems to do his best work when he is facing personal strife. Synchronicity, Nothing Like the Sun, Soul Cages. I noticed alot of people wrote about Soul Cages being there favorite album, after the passing of his father. It seems when Sting is happy the music is more trivial and the topics are light and airy. The world is a changed place as of late, hopefully the inspiration will surface in Sting's new music, I'm sure Sting is feeling the pain, much like all of us. Mercury Falling B-Sides CD....

I own hopefully most of the B-sides material to this great album and I'm now planning on making a CD-R with all the songs on it. Does anyone have a suggested list of what order I should put them in? Any ideas of what artwork I should have for the CD labels as well? I'd love to have all of this stuff on ONE cd instead of being scattered all over on ten trillion different CDs.. thanks in advance folks. :) Angel C.
