Hi All, Well, I thought DSL was going to save everyone alot of grief, time, postage, etc, etc... However, I'm having way to much trouble trying to get the photos off of the E-mails. I cant say whether it's AOL, or the Internet or what, but I dont have the time to deal with it. Very soon I'll be going back to my Corporate life and traveling around the country consulting. As a result, as soon as I do that, I'll be on Dial up the majority of the time, and wont be able to get photos in any way except by mailing a CD to me. I thank you for all the CD's in the past and I'm sorry I cant accomidate with a connection that could / would make your life easier... But the fact is, if you would like to contribute, you'll need to do so by mail. Please mail CD's to: Bill Lamica, 601 Beaumont Blvd, Pacifica, CA 94044 If I'm not in the area, the package will be forwarded by Priority Mail.

Good evening. Glad to become member of this group. I now sail a Com-Pac 16, out of s/west Pa. Great little boat. I have admired the montgomery line for [ more than } several years, and would probably have one if they were more available here. I'll start this email with a question, if I may. I saw a pic of a 15 I believe, with what looked like a small swim platform and boarding ladder. Is that 'stock' equipment ? If so, how may I obtain a listing of optional equipment for the line, or possibly some where , where such could be purchased, { IE: boarding ladder } ? Welcome to the group. This is THE best source for anything you need to know about Montgomery sailboats. I am, however still in "dry-dock"...too many projects. I saw that swim platform with ladder too. Made lots of sense but I did not save the image or the link. If you find out where this is please send a note to me. I know that there are free utilities out there that will convert your AOL address book to a tab-delimited file which can then be imported into other, more user-friendly email applications. I don't have the time right now to track them down, but I used one of them on my wife's Mac to switch her to another ISP. You may want to use all of that spare time you have to Google them for Windows, Bill. ;-) The problem (well, one of them) with AOL is that it insists on using non-standard, proprietary Internet protocols which don't play nice with others. And they count on making it so difficult to switch that people decide just to put up with the inconvenience. AOL users - Hey guess what? Our connection problems to MontyBoats & Nrsea is on their end. I'm told to expect a three day wait before we can use those sites and who knows what others. If you go to a site with AOL and cannot get on, try it with your other browser; IE, Firefox, etc. Make note of a better tech number: 800-827-3338 the first number wanted me to wait "better than 10 minutes" this number got me straight through. Nice lady at Customer Service gave it to me. Thanks to all who helped me Bill

Hi All, So far AOL has had me jumping thru some hurdles to try and get me connected properly. I can get to Bob's sites with Internet Explorer, but not with AOL. I've done a recovery, deleted and replaced their software and then went to a different version I happened to have and still wont work. I tried the norsea and montgomery addresses you posted, neither worked from within AOL. I'd get a message that the site was found, but then the system would time out in terms of uploading the page. So then I went to Internet Explorer, same machine, same settings. It worked fine. I'm surprised the norsea and montgomery sites couldn't be accessed within AOL. I've done it often before.
