Acid Brass/ Williams Fairey Brass Band

Does anyone know if "Acid Brass", a.k.a. the Williams Fairey Brass Band, are still touring and recording? I'd presume that they wouldn't be doing the "Acid Brass" stuff any more, but does anyone know (a) if they do tours, and (b) if they've released any other records of brass band music apart from the studio and live "Acid Brass" CDs? Also, has anyone on the list actually seen them live? (I remember once reading a description of Bjork dancing down the front of one of their gigs during "WTIL"). John Not Scots, just Scott-ish

Mark, Let's not fool ourselves; Mr. Stringer runs his ftp site for his own benefit. Any benefits to anyone else are merely the cost of him getting what he wants. He's made that clear more than once. Anyone who cares to can easily turn up everything on his ftp site on their own in other venues; he provides mere convenience, rather than a priceless boon to the KLF fan community. Can we please stop kissing his ass over that? He (as you know) has been the center of sort of thing on more than one list. At this point, given the sheer number of long-term users he's clearly annoying on multiple lists, I'd suggest that perhaps the problem is him, rather than everyone else. Well-meaning people defending him only leads to more questionable behaviour on his part. As to the rest of your post, it can just as easily be turned around and applied to Mr, Stringer. Since he annoys a non-trivial fraction of the list by the manner of his posts; perhaps he should be the one to change, and follow the (very) minimal standards of netiquette we like around here. ahem - so anyway, you can track down a copy of K Foundation Burn a Million Quid at www.powells.com or you can use a number of book seach engines to find other copies. ...and I dont think the original question in this thread was answered, but the track was called Fuck the Millennium, but more commonly called ***K the Millennium and released under Justified Ancients of Mu Mu, IIRC. I know that some other "classic" band t-shirts from the same era, like James' "Come Home" or the Inspiral Carpets' "Cool as F**k", appear on e-bay occasionally, and tend to go for around 10 UKP - and if they're still bagged, it can be a lot more. This might not necessarily reflect the price of an original KLF t-shirt, though. John Not Scots, just Scott-ish.
