EDDIE NOACK plays C&W stuff. Great lyrics - all 'bout killin'. RED RIVER DAVE is one man and his guitar folk. Lyrics about the "Manson Murders". THE UNCALLED 4 are a punk band that sort of sound like a more screechy TELEVISION. Lyrics about Ed Gein. THE MENTALLY ILL are a legendary punk band. Lyrics about JOHN WAYNE GACY. THE BUGS are THE BUGS! Lyrics about Albert De Salvo. ALBERT plays a 'ballad' about Albert De Salvo. JOHNNY LEGEND is narration going on about something or other over film type music. That makes them really a better deal than the (totally awesome) Soul Jazz comps. The tonic website, http://www.tonic107.com/, is advertising a compilation cd Live at Tonic, Volume 1 Limited Edition CD available only at the Tonic Box Office, featuring: Arto Lindsay Emergency: John Zorn, John Medeski, Marc Ribot & Ben Perowsky Joey Baron & Vinicius Cantuaria Dougie Bowne's Peninsula Derek Bailey & Min Xiao-Fen Erik Friedlander, Sylvie Courvoisier & Ikue Mori Z'EV, Haino Keiji & Ikue Mori Susie Ibarra Trio Loren Mazzacane Connors & Kim Gordon Marina Rosenfeld & Raz Mesinai I would like to get a copy of this cd, but as it is only at the Tonic Box Office and I am in TN, I will not be picking it up myself.
