Progress is equally unhurried and quite magnificent for this fact. Would be interested to hear more concrete info on the overdub front. I seem to recall a review claiming no overdubs had been used, the album being recorded live in studio. Or maybe I dreamt that. bruno

The democracy of nature argument as justification for tolerating, resignedly putting up with, war (especially at this time) does not hold water, nor for anything else for that matter. That is the point. Many things we do are not natural practices of most species. Most species do not kill their own kind intentionally; they do fight and squabble and sometimes the result is death, but death is not the common or intended outcome; running away is sufficient. Additionally no other species amasses armies and wages war, and none intentionally drop tons of depleted uranium damaging the environment long term for a general population (of a politic) under attack and thus inflicting birth deformities and cancer on those populations for many many years to come (on their own troops into the bargain). (Indeed, the Gulf War veterans' association is not too happy about troops being sent back to another conflict in the Gulf, why?) To go back to nature's way; now I will go out, find a nice stream to drink from, puddle water looks gloomy, see if I can catch myself a lizard or two - or something juicier - to eat, and a bush to sleep under, away from the rain; can I have clothes, its kind of cold and I am of the hairless sort body wise?
