Definitely get "Shanghaied on Tor Road" next. Then "Yuxo". There are ten
years between those two recordings, 1992 and 2002, respectively, and you
can hear it. I think listening to them in reverse chronological order will
make the earlier record less impressive than it really is. If you want
more daxophone after that, then pursue "Lower Lurum", which is not in the
same class with the other two records in terms of daxophone virtuosity.
There are other Reichel cds with daxophone like "Dawn of the Dachsman" and
"Buben...plus" to name a couple but they are different beasts, more
improvisational fiddling in nature, not the multi-tracked symphonic
compositions of "Shanghaied on Tor Road" and "Yuxo".
