OK. I downloaded the file, and I get that Realplayer can't get the codecs it needs, or something. I've not pulled QT down because I don't want itunes, I already have to put up with Sony DRM for my MD. Enough rant. So I cannot see it. However I can hear it, and no it is not Wogan. OK yes it is "Kid" Jensen, http://www.theedge-uk.com/davidkidjenson.htm and I'm fairly sure that the program will have been an ITV network UK chart show, probably called the Chart Show. I glimpsed the placement as 73 (?) but the ITV commercial TV) network used a different chart to the BBC. The chart show went through several incarnations, but has always had those "snippets of useless information" rolling across the screen and even cd:uk (today's title) has the same. That is the giveaway. http://www.primeperformers.co.uk/phppages/fullProd.php/David_Jensen/46 This nails it, must have been called The Roxy originally, before getting the graphics makeover which became the chart show.
