Guys - It's been FOREVER since I've talked with ya'll... In some news, I bought a Star Wars kit to upgrade my upright to a SW and ESB (And fix a pesky problem) And I'm trying to fix my Dr. Who Pinball machine, so if any of you know how to fix the slaughtered audio chassis, please let me know I also wanted to let you know that I'm gonna be driving through SLC for NAB in early April. If I got up there on a Friday, would any of you be up for doing a lunch? Chris.

Newbie saying hello!

Hey all, some of you I might know already from Klov but have never met. I finally got on this mailing list and looking forward to talking and meeting all of you good folk. A bit about me, I transferred jobs from socal a bit over a year ago and since moving have built my arcade room back up to a decent one. I know Chris Wright and a huge congrats to you moving forward to a closer opening date for the Atomic Arcade. I'll deff be there when she opens. I am always traveling back and forth to socal to visit my kids, every once in a while i pick up a game or two on the way it all depends on what im driving. As far as my collection goes so far I have: (Minis) Galaga, Pac Man, Centipede. (Uprights) Juno First, Galaga 88, Nintendo Vs SMB, Gyruss, (cockpits) Sega Monaco GP. I always want more game but am completely out of room as of now. Plus since moving here the game up and down the stairs to the basement is crazy, and a huge pain with most of them. I believe the UMLF is my only hope for the operating funds needed, any ideas would be welcome, I believe 12 months would be suffucient to pay it in full. But don't worry, I will make this happen as it has survived this long with minimal funds through sheer determination! The great location has all kinds of great shops around it and that business alone should keep it afloat. It's frightening to not have any kind of cushion to insure success . WTB and New Years lunch

If anyone knows of a Centipede, Tempest or Space Invaders (minis all three) that are available I am looking for them in good condition. Working not important, complete preferred but not a deal breaker. And I'd like to put together a lunch again. Probably downtown SLC, second week in January, Wednesday the 11th. Something for fans of shmups (esp. Darius) - New Darius Game Testing In Utah!

Hey all, I'm not sure how many of you are into shmups/shooter/STG games, particularly of the Darius series. I've never come across an old Darius arcade cab myself but if you want the opportunity to get your hands on the newest arcade Darius, Dariusburst Another Chronicle then I have it at my arcade. It's actually on official location test so any feedback from the players is quite welcome as that could shape the final release before it hits other arcades for sale. Loctests in Utah are extremely rare so that's another reason why I want people to know about it since we don't get a chance like this too often. This game is really something with an old school vibe to it thanks to the horizontal shooting format. They've added a few new ideas to make it more exciting like 4p co-op and of course it has a super wide screen with two monitors. It also has a stellar soundsystem, T-Mek was always my favorite arcade sound system until this came along. If you're in the area of the Valley Fair Mall anytime soon come in and check us out, we're the arcade down the hallway to the old Mervyns and not by the dollar theaters(The Game Grid). Only 50cents to play instead of a dollar as is usually suggested for these games. you can also check out the new Pac-Man Battle Royale if you haven't already.

Reproduction Gauntlet artwork

I have finally moved, and I'm starting to put my life back together and unpack everything I own (2.5 years in storage for most of it), I wanted to get the Gauntlet artwork ordered so I can rebuild my machine. I have a Gauntet I at work, but would like to build a Gaunlet II for home. (2) My big problem with their CPO is the usual "control panel holes not punched". I've not had good luck with "easily" cutting them out with a box-cutter, it looks like a drunk went on a rampage. I'm still looking for some sort of punch for holes in CPOs. Obviously they exist, I'm just not sure where to find them. -Chris

Pac-Man Battle Royale in Utah

Hey all, Just a heads up, I will have the new Pac-Man Battle Royale arriving and playable this Friday evening. I imagine it won't take very long to setup. If you haven't heard about this game yet, it's a brand new, arcade exclusive Pac-Man game where it's like Pac-Man Championship Edition but the focus is on eating the other Pacmen on the board and not so much the dots or ghosts. It's a lot of fun but so far no one in Utah had it. For anyone interested in checking it out, it will be at The Game Grid Arcade at the Valley Fair Mall in West Valley. I haven't figured out where I'll put my Warlords cocktail machine yet as that's where we'll have PMBR, so it will be easy to find. Adam Pratt
