Hi All, A follow-up on Kurts' email, a while ago I found a digitized Barnard's Milky Way Atlas at GA Tech. Only a few scanned test plates for M44 (the Beehive Cluster) in the MC series are actually online. Rob, I gave my drybag and hat to Jim when he hiked out Sunday night. The camera got a little wet in the drybag but is fine. The photos are locked inside my brain. That's why I'm going to ask my neigbor about taking a flight up there sometime. He doesn't fly commercially but may still do it privately. I'd like to see the Right Fork of North Creek as well. You may want to buy the DVD "Treasure of the Gods". It's an incredible movie of Zion and some parts of Southeast Utah. This is not the way to fame! I actually had my fall before the last rappel. There was a creek running between two boulders and I tried to jump across it and I didn't make it. I got my leg jammed between the two boulders and didn't realize I'd been hurt it till I stood up. I rappelled slowly with the busted leg/ankle. We had to get downstream to notify the rangers. Nobody told me you couldn't walk with a broken ankle. The overnight campout was comfortable given the circumstances. I marveled at the beauty surrounding me. The moon rose over the rocks, then in the morning the sun started to rise and light up the canyon. Light bounced off the rocks and gave off a golden hue. I wish I could go back and take a picture of the little waterfall and pool, and the big flat boulder where I was airlifted by helicopter. The five minute ride dangling from a rope is etched in my brain forever. It was an incredible view from the air of the canyon. I may have to go back there and charter an airplane when I'm healthy . Anyway I'll get a hard cast next Tuesday and I'll get around better.
