Hello. I have a problem with removing routing information from NMC card. RADIUS Failover

Does anyone know if there is a way to configure HiperARC equipment to authenticate dialup users to RADIUS, but if RADIUS timeouts it skips authentication and begins PPP? While we can manually 'Set Modem_Group all disable_authentication ppp' when RADIUS fails, we would like it to fall-through automatically if possible. Thus if RADIUS fails (times out) it allows any dialup user online without authentication. Currently if RADIUS timeouts it errors, typically resulting in an error 718 on the client. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. -- Adam Barnhill

Hiper DSP Does not boot

Dear All I have a Hiper DSP card which isn't boot properly. When I put the in the chassis the RN/FL led will remain red. What should I do I ? Dear Todd Thanks for your reply. I'm using the Command Line ( console ) to enter commands. after I run "cmd dchanup" I'll save the work to DSP NVRam with the command "cmd svspcfg". But after restarting ( or E1 modem hangup ) the D-Channel will be down. Please Guide me more . Are you issuing the command 'cmd dchanup' from the DSP card? I believe what you're going to want to do is bring up that chassis using the NMC / total control manager and configure the dsp settings from there using TCM. Then you can save the settings and they'll be there when you reboot. It's also a much nicer interface than consoling into the dsp. Dear All I have a Hiper DSP with E1 ISDN program loaded to it. When I connect the E1 link from modem to the card D-channel is down and I should force it to be up with the command "cmd dchanup". Atfer the D-channel is up , but when the system is restarted it goes down. Please guide me what to do with this problem. Kirti, We once saw similar issues due to an MTU setting. Might be something to check out. Dear All The problem that I had with different IP pool range other than the IP network of Hiper ARC is solved. I used NAT feature. I loaded the 5.3.2 Hiper ARC software to the card which Have the NAT Feature. But I think that from software 4.2 it has nat feature. Then setup nat in the card.It seems working fine. IP Pool and Gateway of Total Control

Dear All I need to set public IP address on hiper arc interface and private IP address pool , but when configured it the user connect to system couldn't browse internet. for example the setting is as below : Hiper ARC interface IP address : 212.200.200.10 Default Gateway : 212.200.200.1 IP Pool : 192.168.100.1 size 60 the user connect to the system and get ip address from pool but they can't ping for example 192.9.9.3.
