HiperARC with WindowsXP Connection

Dear experts, We have a strange condition with our HiperDSP/ARC recently. When our customers connect using Windows 9x they could connect like usual. Browsing, email and other function is working properly. But when they use windows XP or windows 2000, they can not use browsing. At windows we detect an ESTABLISH connection with port 80, only the data not transfer to the computer (we indicate it from modem status). The above situation only happen when we use RADIUS authentication. When we use local profile, the windows XP connection working properly. Anyone have the same situation? -mna-

Quad Analog/Digital Modem not Answering

Hello all, After my last post I acquired A Quad Analog/Digital Modem. From the TCM I see it is set to NIC like I need. Currently the NIC has a single POTS line plugged into port 1 I dial the number and it just rings. I can tell Channel 1 to go off hook and it stops ringing and nothing else happens. What am I missing? Oh this is a separate issue the ARC cards will not let me set an IP address for them???? Thank you all for your help!

Hello, I am new the list. We are/have been using portmaster 3's for a few years. We wanted to offer v.92, and a friend suggested the Total Control box. We purchased a used "chassis" with 3 Hiper DSP Cards, 2 Hiper access router cards, 1 Hiper NMC and dual 130amp PS's. They shipped it to us without any documents or software. I was able to find many PDF's through google, which mentions the Total Control SNMP/GUI Management software but no links to download it. After a bit of searching I found the link totalservice.usr.com .. didnt work, then found totalservice.3com.com .. still didnt work. Just found http://totalservice.utstar.com Im guessing this is where I can download the latest version? Anyway, to get into the downloads section you need a login ID and password. The page says you can register for free, but I cannot find out how, they seem to be in an upgrade process. Can anybody provide a link to the snmp based gui software so I can get started playing/configuring these units. Thx in advance for any help! Brian

MP/16 Managed new sdl = ?

We have USR Total Control MP/16 Managed modem pool (sku# 001268-0). According to the page 100-102 of manual from http://support.3com.com/docs/rapd/mp16vsnm.pdf this device can work with leased line only on speed 19200 (v.34 must be disabled). I guess this is a software problem since MP/16 non-managed (sku# 000939-0) had the same restriction 19200 with old sdl's, but can use V.34 and do 33600 on leased lines with new sdl's (and standart USR Courier also can use V.34 on leased lines since 1996). Maybe this can be solved by loading new SDL - our pool is very old (the answer on ATI7 command is below). It seems that sdl's for MP/16 non-managed cannot be used in this case. I see the problem - forgot this - the chassis is labelled slots 1-14, but for the equation to work you have to use 0-13. In other words, instead of: [256 * slot number] + channel number You use: [256 * (slot number - 1)] + channel number.
