Hi all, I don't want to be a boring cry baby, but I think I have found a strange coincidence concerning the new song. Have you noticed that the heavy bass line of Sting's Send Your Love Radio Edit (3:38) is extremely similar to the song of Modjo's Lady (Hear Me Tonight). The feeling, the sound, the rhythm and the whole concept behind it. Not so original I think... :(((( I wonder if Sting, Kipper or Chris McBride are aware of this? Let's compare both songs! Take care! I will have to disagree with you on this one... Although it is not a terribly original bass line, I think it would be wong to say it was plagiarising Mojo. Sting's bass line is much busier than Mojos and I don't think the feeling of the two are comparable - Mojo's is also slower (I am listening to the original "Lady", not a remix). That said, I don't particularly like the bass line in SYL - I hate it when he uses synth bass! Give me a good old Fender sound and I'm happy! Hummmmmm... The song we're discussing about is a REMIX by Victor Calderone... So there's a great deal of chance that neither Sting or Kipper are responsible for the bassline, sound, electronic, etc... And Certainly not Christian Mc Bride!!! Oh My God!!! I find it very strange how a lot of us still continue to comment on the song as if it was just a pure Sting song... I mean, Nobody would have in mind to compare any other remix of a Sting song with any of his other song or any song in the world... Remix are made to sound like all the stuff out there, just be calibrated stuff that any people will have no difficulties to groove to it as it feels that they know the song for one hundred years already, a sort of pre-conquered land for record sellers!!! So ok, this single is low quality and I still can't understand why the hell it's out on FM as the new Sting single, but NO, it's not a Sting song!!! I would never consider the Melodic Club Mix of Desert Rose (another Calderone Remix) a Sting song!!!
