I will have to disagree with you on this one...
 
Although it is not a terribly original bass line, I think it would be wong to say it was plagiarising Mojo.
 
Sting's bass line is much busier than Mojos and I don't think the feeling of the two are comparable - Mojo's is also slower (I am listening to the original "Lady", not a remix).
 
That said, I don't particularly like the bass line in SYL - I hate it when he uses synth bass! Give me a good old Fender sound and I'm happy!
